Contemporary Dance at Abrons Art Center / Henry Street Settlement

About
Drawing on various modern and contemporary forms, this class gives students a safe environment in which to develop their strength, flexibility, spatial awareness, and creativity.
Through a clear structure of exercises we will explore how to move fuidly and with confdence, while expanding our idea of what contemporary dance is and how it looks. Together we will create a composition to share at the end of the semester that demonstrates major themes discussed and explored in class.
