Arabic Rhythm and Dance (10:00-10:45AM):
Exotic Rhythms from lands far away! Come try our Arabic Rhythm & Dance Class! Perfect for kids who love to dance and clap along! This hands-on class introduces your little musician or dancer to the rich rhythms, melodies, instruments, and movements of Middle Eastern music and dance. Beginning with simple songs using English lyrics and live Middle Eastern percussion (drum, tambourine, finger cymbals), kids learn to break up rhythmic sound while developing auditory perception - the same skills required in early stages of language development! Then with jingly hip scarves and recorded Middle Eastern music, we dance along to traditional bellydance music and Dabke (Arabic folk line dance, with lots of stomping and kicking!) The class aims to be a cultural, artistic and most of all fun experience!
Indoor Play (11:00AM-2PM):
Enjoy a complimentary coffee or tea and a preschool style experience 5 days a week with your little one in our air conditioned studio! We love our little BBK community and we invite you to gather and socialize with other kiddos and grown ups! Enjoy our train table in the quiet room, or soft play, and playhouse in the studio. Listen to fun tunes, read a story, sing a song and make a new friend or two! We would love to have you join us for your next play date!

Katie earned her degree in the performing arts, holding a B.F.A. from New York University’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts CAP21 Conservatory. She has had experience performing professionally and teaching voice and dance for over 25 years.
