This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (https://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community and showcases many the incredible classes and instructors on KidPass.
This is a Martial Arts class. Students will be expected to exercise and perform self-defense techniques. It is also recommended that your child has space to do physical movement activities.
Note that as a KidPass Live Stage performance, this class and your participation may be posted on KidPass . Since it is formatted for a large audience, there will be limited instructor interaction. Students are recommended to wear comfortable clothes suitable for karate. Students should wear sweatpants or shorts along since they would be practicing kicks. Also, students should have water to drink nearby if they need a break.

Mateo Mixed Martial Arts, located in the Upper West Side Manhattan, is a martial arts studio for kids ages 4-13 that's dedicated to providing the highest quality fitness and self-defense training for youngsters possible. Led by Sensei Mateo, an elementary and middle school physical educator (and National Point Contact Champion), Mateo Mixed Martial Arts teaches self-confidence, discipline, respect and physical fitness through small group training that allows for individualized instruction and feedback. Sensei Mateo believes that martial arts is a positive influence for children and has changed so many young lives for the better. He—and the rest Mateo Mixed Martial Arts—looks forward to personally meeting you and seeing your child transform.
