Looking for a fun and cognitive activity for you and your baby?  Learn Baby Sign Language at A Mother’s Haven! Parents can give their babies a way to share their wants and needs as early as five or six months old by using basic American Sign Language (ASL) signs with them. Babies know what they want and need months before being able to tell you verbally. Using signs gives them a way to let you know what they’re interested in before they can talk. These one-hour classes are open to parents & babies of any age who wish to learn baby sign language. Typically the babies are 6-18 months old, and we recommend that your baby is able to sit up on their own and have their hands free so that you see the results of your commitment sooner rather than later.

Wonderful teacher, so calm and understanding with the kids. Songs, signs, games at a great relaxing yet engaging pace. Very useful signs with room to ask questions. Clean toys and space in private room in the back of the store. Plenty of room to park strollers indoors plus shopping at Mother’s Haven. Lovely location with free underground validated parking, the strip mall has other restaurants, toy store, carousel and kids hair salon too. We tried another sign class on kid pass and it was not even close to as nice as this one, the other was too fast, hectic and the staff here at Mother's haven was 10x more pleasant. Will definitely be back here my husband and our baby all had fun!

At A Mother’s Haven, our mission is to provide expectant and new parents a nurturing and welcoming environment where they can receive the education, support and products they need to begin the most rewarding experience of their lives. Our prenatal classes and instructors support families through the birthing process and teach parents how to care for their baby and keep them safe. After baby, our Mothers’ Gathering (Mommy & Me) and Daddy & Me instructors guide Moms and Dads through their new journey into becoming a family and provide a wonderful chance to bond with other parents experiencing similar successes and challenges. Our music and baby sign language classes stimulate baby’s cognitive and physical development and give them a great head start. Our 2,500 square foot boutique has a variety of hand select items catering to Mom, Dad and Baby’s needs.
