This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (https://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community and showcases many of the incredible classes and instructors on KidPass.
We are getting ready for the summer and can't wait to get back on the stage. Our summer camps are led by Broadway Veterans and theatre pros that bring all of their experience of more than 10 Broadway shows to each and every class, camp and activity they do. Kids explore all styles of dance, sing with our musical director and do scene work, and improvisation with our owner and Broadway pro, Jeffrey "Shecky" Schecter. In this introduction to our camps and classes you will get to work with Broadway pro, Jeffrey "Shecky" Schecter and quickly learn a fun musical theatre dance routing from a Broadway show and if we have time a few fun rounds of improvisation.
Note that as a KidPass Live Stage performance, this class and your participation may be posted on KidPass social media. Since it is formatted for a large audience, there will be limited instructor interaction. If you enjoy the class, please visit the instructor's KidPass page where you can find other class offerings and formats including small-group, interactive classes. Your budding star will love the programs at I Can Do That at Reflections Yoga in Flatiron, Manhattan. Created by Broadway Performer Jeffrey "Shecky" Schecter and his wife, Melissa "Melly" Swender, I Can Do That NYC is the perfect place for your child to jump, turn, twirl, sing and dance in a comfortable, fun environment. With a growing staff of Broadway Performers and Theatrical Professionals, Jeff and Melissa are determined to offer inspiring, educational and fun classes that build confidence, motor skills, social skills and an appreciation for the arts. Kids can receive an introduction to hip hop, ballet, jazz and tap in a variety of sessions depending on age and ability. I Can Do That also offers winter break and summer camps, and phenomenal birthday party packages.
