About
At this age, children can produce sounds on a wide variety of instruments. They enjoy tambourines, tapping bongo drums, strumming guitars, and bowing violins. They also love playing recorders, harmonicas, and kazoos. Two's begin to sing along with their favorite songs and dance in response to the music. In our Two's classes, children develop fine motor skills through activities such as plucking guitar strings, snapping castanets, and playing the violin and keyboard. Math skills are acquired by playing to particular rhythms and counting to the beat of the music. One of the greatest benefits of our class at this age is the experience interacting in a supportive classroom environment with their peers. They are encouraged to work together as a group by sharing, taking turns, cleaning up together, and learning to resolve differences.
