The New York Sewing Center: KidPass Fall Semester Open House at The New York Sewing Center

If you’re looking for regularly scheduled activities for your kids this fall but aren’t sure where to start, we’re here to help with our Online Fall Semester Open House from September 8-11. Our semester programs are live, interactive and take place in small groups (also known as “pods”). Programs can meet daily, once a week or twice a week and are the perfect way to give your kids the routine and peer-to-peer relationships they need. The Fall Semester Open House lets you try free demo classes from the programs you’re considering to help you find your perfect fit for fall!

On September 8, join The New York Sewing Center for a sample their Sewing & Fashion After School class! Join us after school at 4pm on Thursdays for this sewing and fashion pod! We will be teaching fashion sketching, sewing, embroidery, mending and how to recycle clothing to make scrunchies and face masks!

I think the Kidpass live stage today was a short informational one. When I looked it was someone speaking but would have been more descriptive for parents to see samples or a short demo of something being made. Might drop by if it doesn't conflict with remote learning class. Thanks for this interesting course! It would be very neat to make our own masks!

The New York Sewing Center, in Midtown West, Manhattan, offers sewing, design, and private classes to adults and kids ages 7 and up. The New York Sewing Center was founded by Kristine Frailing, a fashion designer and sewing instructor with an education in fashion design and merchandising from Missouri State University and believes her clothing and sewing lessons empower children and adults and build confidence. In addition to her specialized education, she has years of experience in the fashion industry including positions at J.Mendel, Gurhan, David Yurman and her own clothing company K.BANASIK that has sold in over 25 stores internationally. The New York Sewing Center offers spring break camps, summer break camps, an after-school program, kids' birthday parties and fun workshops (like an American Girl fashion one!).
