About
FunFit Kids is ON for SUMMER! FunFit Summer Academy campers will enjoy an action-packed summer full of games and adventures experienced through multi-sports, weekly themes and much more. Campers will spend the majority of time in Central Park's sports facilities and also have full access to our 3,000 square foot padded gym (FunFit HQ). Sports include soccer, baseball, basketball, tennis, hockey, volleyball, lacrosse, and tumbling. Campers will also take part in outdoor programming such as swimming, nature walks, team building, and recess games. Indoor activities include yoga, tumbling, dance, art, and STEM projects. Each week campers will partake in one charitable action such as preparing care packages for the needy or learning about park conservation in NYC. Classes are led by dedicated and professional staff trained to work with children, with a low 1:5 coach to camper ratio. We pride ourselves on creating a fun and stimulating environment, in a completely safe and team-building atmosphere, where campers will build lasting friendships for years to come.
We are there to guide our youngest campers and support their transition into what could be their first group experience. Our program is designed to encourage curiosity, teamwork, confidence building and skill development in a fun-loving and open atmosphere.
Children should dress in comfortable clothes and shoes, sneakers are recommended.
FunFit Kids will provide a nut-free snack for the children. Please alert us if your child has any allergies or food restrictions, or needs any special medical attention. For our Little Athletes program, we will have wipes on hand, but ask that you pack diapers or pull-ups if your child is not potty trained. Additionally, if your child has a comfort item, such as a blankie or stuffed animal, you are welcome to send that with them.
