This 45 minute class is an introduction to the world of movement for our tiniest dancers building coordination and motor skills that will benefit them for a lifetime. We encourage creativity, rhythm, balance and listening skills in a fun and easy environment. Moms, Dads, or Caretakers, get ready to move and play with your little ones.

Dance for Kids and the Brentwood Academy of Dance, located in the Brentwood Gardens in the Westside of Los Angeles, California has been voted one of the top 100 dance studios in America by Dance Magazine. In Dance for Kids classes, young dancers (ages 2-18) can start learning tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, acrobatics, hip-hop and tumbling as young as age 2 with the Mommy & Me classes, then take age and level-appropriate classes all the way through their senior year in high school. Dance for Kids' loving and safe atmosphere—led by Karen Chase, a Broadway dancer and an original Laker Girl—allows their world-class teaching staff to instill a love for the art of dance in all of their students. If kids K-12 are looking for ways to compete, they can also join the Brentwood Academy of Dance (aka BAD) competition and performance teams.

Dance for Kids was established in 1989 and then eight years later, the popular dance school was relocated to its current home, the Brentwood Gardens.
