Additional details:
**Dress code: White Coralie Cap-Sleeve Leotard required. Dancers should arrive already dressed; 'street clothes' should be worn over dance attire upon entry. Feet must be covered at all times (flip-flops and sandals are ok). Hair is to be neatly pulled back and secured in a bun. Jewelry is not allowed except non-dangling earrings. Warm-ups are only allowed with instructor’s permission.

The Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington, DC is the only training program of its kind in the United States. It is a prestigious ballet and academic boarding school that prepares students ages 11-21 to become the next generation of classically trained ballet dancers through the principles and aesthetics of the Vaganova Method of Classical Ballet with world-renowned ballet instructors.
Kirov Academy of Ballet is proud to offer excellent training to young dancers through its After School Program for ages 4-17. The After School Program's highly qualified instructors work with each dancer in a step-by-step approach instilling the solid foundations of classical ballet, along with character building qualities such as focus, a strong work ethic, determination, and self-esteem.
