40-minutes of fun singalongs that cleverly encourages baby/toddler milestones (clapping, waving, sitting up, standing, crawling, walking, animal sounds, etc) while also teaching basic dance technique, music theory, introduction to various age appropriate instruments, a sprinkle of sign language. MOST importantly, we strive to make learning FUN! Babies and children learn best when they are playing so we want all our students to feel free to play and explore during the entire class! Class is taught by 2 NYC moms (a dancer and a singer) based on play dates they had with their daughters, Juliette & Ella, when they were 5-months-old.

Class will be in studio 5. Please keep voices down in order to respect the other meditation and yoga classes going on.

This location of Juliette and Ella's Play Date: Baby Music and Ballet Class, held in the Upper West Side of Manhattan at Pure Yoga West, is a unique music and dance drop-in class for NYC kids aged 6 to 36 months old. Beloved by local parents (and featured by ABC World News!), Juliette and Ella's Play Date uses the art of storytelling to introduce babies to music theory, ballet technique and sign language to increase reading skills, flexibility and IQ in your children. Especially beloved are the teachers, all of whom are professional singers, dancers and actors passionate about children. They also offer birthday parties and private classes at the venue of your choice! To arrive at this location: take the elevator down to the main lobby—the class is located in Studio 5. Please park strollers in the front area and take off your shoes!
