About
What do dragons, princess, wizards, and unicorns all have in common? They can be a part of your adventure!

In this "choose your own adventure" style class students will work together and use their imaginations to come up with their own Fairy Tale Adventure! With a focus on ensemble, creativity, dance, stage combat, and storytelling this dynamic class will get students up on their feet and engage them in creative play with a focus on how we use our bodies to tell stories.

Will there be monsters? Princess? Pirates? It's up to YOU!

This Virtual class is hosted over Zoom, but don't worry, your students won't be sitting and watching. Students will be up on their feet, active, and engaged. A few weeks into the class, students will be sent a box containing all necessary props and art supplies

Come see why parents are saying “This is the best theater program in the DC area!”

About
Synetic Theater was founded in 2001 and made its artistic debut with the first wordless Shakespeare production, Hamlet…the rest is silence, thrilling audiences with its athletic and high-voltage physical theatre. Synetic’s innovative take on Hamlet earned three 2003 Helen Hayes Awards, for Outstanding Resident Play, Outstanding Choreography, and Outstanding .

Synetic produces four to five main stage productions and two to three family series productions per season, while also running an educational studio for children and adults, conducting community outreach programs, and touring family and main stage productions, reaching over 36,000 patrons annually. To date, Synetic’s productions have earned 116 Helen Hayes nominations, winning 27 Helen Hayes Awards, garnering praise for both its Wordless Shakespeare repertoire (Hamlet…the rest is silence, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Antony and Cleopatra, Othello, King Lear, The Taming the Shrew, Twelfth Night) and its dialogue- and movement-based pieces, such as Host and Guest, Frankenstein, Carmen, and The Master and Margarita.
