About
45 minutes of fun singalongs that cleverly encourages baby/toddler milestones (clapping, waving, sitting up, standing, crawling, walking, animal sounds, etc) while also teaching basic dance technique, music theory, introduction to various age appropriate instruments, a sprinkle of sign language. MOST importantly, we strive to make learning FUN! Babies and children learn best when they are playing so we want all our students to feel free to play and explore during the entire class! Class is taught by 2 NYC moms (a dancer and a singer) based on play dates they had with their daughters, Juliette & Ella, when they were 5-months-old.

The class was terrific! Sarah, the instructor is very talented, friendly, and professional. She brought sanitized props for the kids and had bubbles and light effects which really set the mood. We loved how sign language and ballet were incorporated into the class as well. One of the best classes we’ve taken so far.

About
The Playroom owners (and sisters) Liat and Tali often found themselves scrambling for things to do with their little ones. They were in search of a clean and exciting indoor space that they could return to often, and hence the idea for The Playroom NYC was born.

Learning from their kids, Liat and Tali have incorporated many different features into the play space, from a wall of light switches, to a padded area for toddlers learning to walk, to a room devoted entirely to dress up and imaginative play. The registration and membership options are flexible, allowing parents and caregivers with busy schedules the freedom to come as often and regularly as they would like. Weekly classes and a party room is also available, making The Playroom NYC an essential facility for the children of the Upper East Side.
