Students will be exposed to the disciplines of classical ballet in a creative, fun, and focused environment while learning basic concepts of rhythms and positions.
About The Teacher:
Giorgia Bovo was born in Biella, Italy, where she grew up until her dance studies brought her to Firenze to train on full scholarship at Scuola del Balletto di Toscana. After dancing professionally in Italy, she moved to NY and worked with The Metropolitan Opera, Armitage Gone! Dance and Gabrielle Lamb. She currently dances with Cherylyn Lavagnino Dance and Rebecca Kelly Ballet where she also teaches company class. Giorgia is an ABT® Certified Teacher in Pre-Primary through Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. Giorgia will be teaching at Recess during the Winter/Spring semester.
