In general this is a great place for those kids who loves arts and crafts, but child cannot stay for the whole hour there if he/she finishes project earlier then he/she needs to leave.

Stop in to The Craft Studio for some fun with arts and crafts! It's a perfect afterschool activity, and there is a different promotion each day of the week! Please note that crafts range in size and price point. Because of this, an additional charge may be incurred depending upon the craft selected by your child. Also, this is not an instructor led class. It's open crafts time for caretaker and child.

The Craft Studio on Manhattan's Upper East Side has been a staple for New York City kids of all ages since it opened in 1994. Families can stop by the spacious craft studio throughout the week for a variety of walk-in art projects—think ceramics, watercolor, clay play, canvas and more. The best part: You can bring your item home with you as soon as you finish! The Craft Studio also offers afterschool programs, daily classes, camps, seasonal workshops, private art classes, birthday parties (both at the studio or at your home!) and even an "after dark" series of classes and workshops for tweens and parents. Another highlight: The Craft Studio sells an adorable selection of children's toys handpicked by the owner and staff themselves. (It's a great place to pick up a birthday party gift!)
