This is a bilingual camp; no prior knowledge is required as we will alternate languages when needed.

In-Person Summer Program
Age 4-10
The theme of our In-Person Summer Program 2024 is our bellissima Italia.
Your child(ren) will participate in a unique experience inspired by the discovery of Italian Culture and Language through a variety of activities: every week is a new theme!
It is a 10 week program (June 23rd to August 29th - **No class on July 4th) with two age groups:
Group A: 4-6 yo and Group B: 7-10 yo.
Children will be placed in groups according to their age only during their daily language activity unless the groups can work together on a project.
*Note: If your child is 3yo or older than 10 yo, please email valentina@speakitalynyc.com to check on the possibility of creating a new age group or adding your child to the current one

WEEK 6: July 28th-August 1st — LE FAMOSE RICETTE ITALIANE

WEEK 8: August 11th-15th — LE PIANTE E I FIORI IN ITALIA
WEEK 9: August 18th-22nd — I FUMETTI ITALIANI

How does it work?
The Program runs from 9AM to 12PM (Mon-Fri)
How many children will be attending?
We always have small groups of 3-8 children per day which guarantees closer attention to your children and the details of the proposed activities.
What’s the daily plan?
9-11 AM - Italian culture class, playtime and snack.
9AM-12PM - All the above + Italian time at the playground* to release the energy and play group games.
*If weather permits, kids will go to the playground/park every day for about 45 minutes.
While at the park they will always be supervised by the teacher(s) when free.
TO SIGN UP: To be considered for enrollment we require a two-week notice before the selected days/weeks. Each group has no more than five children per teacher and no less than three.
*Daily Lunch not included

Makeup policy:
Speakitaly NYC is not responsible for providing make-ups or issuing refunds for camp days missed as a result of vacation plans, scheduling conflicts, illness, emergencies or other events beyond our control. There are no prorated fees for campers arriving after the start of the session or leaving before session completion.
Refund policy:
All sales are final. There are no refunds or transfer of funds for other Summer Camp days or Speakitaly NYC programs. If Speakitaly NYC cancels a program due to force majeure, credits will be issued. If Speakitaly cancels a program due to low enrollment, a full monetary refund will be provided unless the parent or guardian agrees in receiving school credits. Such cancellation notice will be received at least a week prior to the beginning of the week.

Designed to actively involve their little students, the children's program uses a wide variety of learning tools to ensure children have fun while learning. In the program, kids are encouraged to experience the language through a wide range of fun activities that will help them start speaking Italian in a very natural way.
