Animal Yoga Fun Camp - KidPass Live Stage

This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (https://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community and showcases many of the incredible classes and instructors on KidPass.
Come join me for learning and movement fun. If you like moving, stretching, squirming, or just getting on the floor, then this class is for you. Mrs. Jennifer has been teaching yoga classes for over a year. Research has shown that yoga can improve focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, and classroom behavior and can even reduce anxiety and stress in children of all ages. In this class, your student will learn fun and stress relieving fun animal poses. Your student will learn the importance of stretching and movement and the positive effects it has on the body. Feel free to send me a message if there are specific topics you would like to see in class.
Note that as a KidPass Live Stage performance, this class and your participation may be posted on KidPass social media. Since it is formatted for a large audience, there will be limited instructor interaction. About
Mrs. Jennifer has been a teacher in the public school system for 13 years. In this role, She has taught phonemic awareness, pragmatics (personal-social skills), listening comprehension, expressive and receptive language to children ages pre-kindergarten to 12th grade.
Mrs. Jennifer also have experience teaching students virtually as well. She have taught virtually with an online tutoring platform for one year. During that time, she taught an online health and wellness class about yoga during the pandemic. This class was for students ages 4 – 13. She also taught reading and spelling to exceptional learners (ages 21 and 7).
Mrs. Jennifer's educational training is as follows:
• I earned a Specialist degree in Education at William Carey University, which I completed in 2018.
• I earned a psychometry endorsement at William Carey University, which I completed in 2016.
• I earned a Master’s degree in Special Education at William Carey University, which I complete in 2014.
• I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Science at Delta State University, which I completed in 2009.
Mrs. Jennifer is certified by the state of Mississippi to teach the following areas:
• speech correction (k-12)
• special education - mild/moderate disabilities (k-12)
• emotional and behavioral disabilities (k-12)
• I am also licensed by the state of Mississippi as a psychometrist (k-12).
Mrs. Jennifer's teaching philosophy is all children are unique and learning should be interactive, fun, and should grow the student in all areas of their lives.
