Does your child love animals? Does your child love to draw? Join Mrs. M in the virtual classroom to learn how to draw animals from all over the world! In this fun and light-hearted class, we will not only learn how to draw a variety of animals, we will also learn fun facts about each unique creature!
"Let's Draw Pets" is the first class in this four-week series. In this 30 minute lesson, we will learn how to draw a dog, a cat and a rabbit. As this is a lesson for beginners, drawings will be child-friendly, cartoon-like and very cute! In "Let's Draw Pets," children will learn some facts about these popular pets, and how to take care of them. Students will also be encouraged to join in an open discussion about what pets they may have at home, or what kind of pets they might be interested in. We will also be visited by a special guest - Leia the little dog!
Caregiver guidance is optional for this series, but is recommended for younger learners who might need help with drawing. Please be sure to bring three sheets of paper, a pencil and an eraser to the class. Although children are welcome to use crayons to color-in their artwork, a pencil and eraser are important for drawing the basic outlines of each animal.
The "Let's Draw" series is hosted fully online via the KidPass Zoom platform. Please be sure to download Zoom prior to the lesson. After you have booked your class, you will receive a link to gain access to the lesson. I hope to see you there!

Mrs. M is an online teacher with a passion for education! Teacher M holds an AA degree in general studies and a BA degree in psychology. She has two years' experience with tutoring adults, five years of experience working with children in-person, and has been teaching in an online setting for over three years. Mrs. M is an ESL teacher with a TESOL certification; but also enjoys hosting a wide range of extra-curricular classes. Mrs. M enjoys drawing, practicing mindfulness, and reading in her free time. She is very excited to share her knowledge and expertise with students in both formal and social classes. Mrs. M strives to keep her classes upbeat, engaging and fun for learners of all ages.
Mrs. M feels that all students need a voice in the classroom. Therefore, Mrs. M aims to make all students feel included, seen and heard throughout one-on-one and group lessons. She believes that participation is vital, and that acknowledgement is a huge motivator for students. Mrs. M also uses her knowledge of child psychology to do her best in keeping students interested, engaged and appropriately challenged during her one-of-a-kind lesson plans.
