"It’s our second AMAZING ADVENTURE with Elmer Elevator! Elmer is realizing his dream, to fly with his new friend the baby dragon. Elmer needs help from the dragon to fly home to celebrate his Fathers birthday but encounters some unexpected and exciting challenges along the way. Will he make it home in time? What friends, new and old, will he meet on the way? Will he complete his quest to find a treasure that could save his new friends?

This is the second book in the series, but also stands on it’s own as a timeless tale of friendship and adventure! During this enchanting mini camp we will read the whole book, a little bit each day. But never fear, if you can't make it every day, Ms. Sherri will make sure you are filled in on all the important details so you don't miss any part of this fantastic story! Come for a day or come for the week!

*Monday: Elmer is trying to get home, soaring about the beautiful earth on the back of his new friend the dragon, but neither of them know how to get there! They find help from an unexpected source and are on their way when a horrible fierce storm sets them off course. How will they survive?
*Tuesday: Elmer and the Dragon find themselves on an unknown island. The storm was really hard on the Dragon, and he is not doing very well. Can Elmer help him? And where in the world are they? Is there any hope of rescue?
*Wednesday: A surprising friend from the past arrives. This friend lives on the peculiar little island. Unfortunately he tells them the inhabitants of the island are suffering from a terrible illness. Elmer finds out there is a secret that may hold the key to a cure, but can they discover the secret?
*Thursday: Elmer and the dragon have the privilege of meeting the island King! Will he reveal the secret? And wait- is there something about a treasure? It is time for a treasure hunt!
*Friday: Time is ticking away, Elmer still needs to get home for his dad’s birthday but he also must help his new friends! Can Elmer Elevator and the baby dragon retrieve the treasure and possibly save the island? The fate of their new island friends is in their hands! "

Sherri has a great way of presenting to the kids and they love the voices! She takes time to talk to them all at the end of class and was super patient as many kids take a while to get out what they want to say. We wish we could see her every day and will try to come to see her again. Great story and execution! It’s a clear winner in my kid's book.
