Let’s learn about polar bears and penguins! This introductory Science class presents these amazing animals in a fun and exciting way designed to tap into the great energy and curious nature children have.
-Learners will explore the geography and natural habitats of polar bears and penguins with maps I will present and we will interact with. Where do polar bears live? Where do penguins live?
-Learners will gain a basic understanding of what polar bears and penguins have in common as well as some of their differences. Do they like warm or cold weather? What do they like to eat? Are they tall or short? I will present visuals and encourage discussion so that learners can easily understand and point out the various similarities and differences between polar bears and penguins.
Although this is a science class, it also includes arts and crafts and discussion skills. Students will engage with slides, visuals, games, worksheets, and discussions to best understand the content presented. No prior knowledge is required, and I will provide links for learners interested in extending their classroom experience and certificates for students who try their best.
Note that as a KidPass Live Stage performance, this class and your participation may be posted on KidPass social media.
