This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (
https://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community and showcases many of the incredible classes and instructors on KidPass.
Class will start with a short presentation about inspiring women throughout the decades. Afterwards we will get crafting!
Kids will pick a woman from their lives or one from my presentation and will sketch them out using my particular drawing style. We will then make some cool outfits and other accessories using some zentangle patterns.
Throughout the class their will be some fun icebreakers :)
This class is intended for 7-11+ year olds, but any kid that can keep their microphone muted (unless called on) and is great at following drawing instruction is welcome!
This class is taught using two cameras. One camera will show my face and the other will be showing my hands demonstrating the craft. On zoom you can "pin" a video to make it the solely large video. (If you are unfamiliar with pinning a video check out this link:
https://nerdschalk.com/pin-video-on-zoom/ ). Using "speaker view" doesn't work because I can only use the audio of one of my devices.
Finally, by taking this class your child learns some zentangle patterns, how to draw in a cute way and learns more about some inspiring women :)
Note that as a KidPass Live Stage performance, this class and your participation may be posted on KidPass social media. Since it is formatted for a large audience, there will be limited instructor interaction. If you enjoy the class, please visit the instructor's KidPass page where you can find other class offerings and formats including small-group, interactive classes.
