Improv 4 Kids is a professional NYC theatre program in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, dedicated to educating and entertaining young audiences (best for elementary school-age kids, approximately ages 5 and up) through creative comedy arts. An Improv 4 Kids show is a high-energy, high-impact performance by talented professional performers who present a series of original characters, stories, skits, songs and dances based on the audience giving the actors suggestions (a favorite color, book, movie, etc). Their artists create an original action-packed comedy show on the spot that is entertaining and unique for children and adults of all ages. Each show uses lots of audience volunteers on stage in various scenes and skits. Improv 4 Kids also offers comedy classes and camps for kids and teens.
Editor’s Tip
Improv 4 Kids, made its Off-Broadway debut at the Lambs Theatre in New York City in 2005 and has played over 5,000 public and private performances since then.
