Welcome space explorers! In this ongoing class, learners will practice counting and solving math problems.
To give your preschooler/Kindergartner a head start in math, I have come up with fun, interacting, hands-on ways that you can teach your preschooler/kindergartner math! Students will learn through manipulative, as well as interactive discussions, problem solving, power points and engaging activities.
Each week we will focus on a new kindergarten math skill. There will be frequent opportunities for active participation throughout the entire class! This class will meet the needs of various learners such as Kinesthetic, visual, and auditory.
Preschool/ Kindergarten Math Curriculum Skills
Week 1: counting, writing, recognizing numbers up to 10 and greater than, less than.
Week 2: counting, writing, recognizing numbers up to 15 and Solving simple addition up to 10.
Week 3: counting, writing, recognizing numbers up to 20 and Solve simple subtraction problems.
Week 4: counting, writing, recognizing numbers up to 25 and patterns.
Students will gain skills needed to progress from Preschool into Kindergarten.
