This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (https://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community and showcases many of the incredible classes and instructors on KidPass.
Make reading fun with The Reading Rainbow class! Your little one will enjoy a fun story to start the class followed by a craft that directly relates to the story of the day. In this class your child will learn about colors, shapes, numbers, letters and different cultures while letting their creativity run wild!
Note that as a KidPass Live Stage performance, this class and your participation may be posted on KidPass social media. Since it is formatted for a large audience, there will be limited instructor interaction. Hello! My name is Shanay Colyar and I am the instructor of The Reading Rainbow: Read and craft class! I love working with children in a creative setting! I have years of experience with drawing, painting, and crafts. Post college, I taught online English classes to children 3-10 year old abroad and that sparked my interest in teaching. Since then I have put together many crafting activities for family and friends to enjoy in my free time. I also do tons of DIY activities myself as a hobby and run a handmade candle business. I currently work full time in fitness as a manager and I teach group fitness classes. However, I am finishing up my certification to become an elementary art teacher and I am super excited to start that journey!
In my classes your child will not only get to be creative, they will be learning about their shapes, colors, numbers, and different cultures as well. I will be using art to make learning fun! I believe that learning should be something kids look forward to, so I strive to make my lessons a good time for my students.
