Pre-k/Kindergarten Fun!!! Early learning, story time, and games!!!!

About
In Pre-school Fun, young learners will be provided with activities to nourish their young minds and help them to be prepared for kindergarten and beyond. This class will focus on early reading, math, and social skills. Students will learn and review the letters of the alphabet, as well as numbers, writing, shapes, feelings, and more. I will use the whiteboard and Powerpoint to introduce fun topics as well as videos and games to enhance the class material.
Here is a breakdown of Preschool Fun!!!!
-Introduction and greeting: I will introduce myself to the students and ask the students to do the same. If the student needs help with the introduction, I will guide them with an appropriate response to my greeting.
-Group chat-I will ask the students their feelings and favorite color, in order to build a rapport, and set the environment/tone of the class. will introduce the topic of the class and rules. (1. Listen to the teacher, raise your hand, try your best).
-Learning and practice: Students will watch videos, learn, and sing new songs, actively participate in storytime, practice writing, color, and play games.
Rewards- Students will receive stickers and praise for doing well in class.
Goodbye- We will say good-bye to each other and end class.
This is an online class that is hosted on the KidPass Digital Platform, which uses Zoom. Upon booking, you will receive a link to access the class in your booking confirmation email. Simply click on the link when it’s time for your class. Please download Zoom prior to the start of the class.

Shaniqua H. is from "The Big Apple", New York City, but currently lives in South Carolina, USA. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master of Social Work with an emphasis in empowerment. Shaniqua holds a 150 hr TEFL, a 70 hr TE, a 40 IELTS, and a 60 hr IELTS certificate. She loves to empower students in a fun, relaxing, learning environment. She gives corrections while encouraging my students to participate through songs, games, drawing, puzzles, reading, and more.
Shaniqua has over 10 years of experience in teaching and tutoring, with 8 of those years being online. She has taught in a preschool, tutored in a local elementary/ middle school, helping students with and without special learning needs. Shaniqua currently teaches ESL online and tutor students privately online in math, reading, pre-school, and more. Shaniqua can adapt quickly to meet students where they are and help take the stress out of learning.
