Group Voice Lesson with Karley- Disney Music Party singing music from The Lion King, Frozen, and The Little Mermaid (Ages 4-7 Years)

About
Have a little one that loves to sing? Karley teaches a choir class to children ages 4-7 that you can take right from the comfort of your home! Kids will gain skills in creative expression, music theory, vocal technique, team work, and even learn new songs each week!
This semester we will be working on vocal technique as well as learning our favorite Disney songs! Such songs as “Under The Sea” from The Little Mermaid, “Hakuna Matata” from The Lion King, “Let It Go” from Frozen and so much more!
This is a 45 minute beginner to intermediate class open to children ages 4-7. Class will begin with a 15 minute voice and body warm-up, 5 minutes of discussing the material for the day, and 25 minutes of learning and practicing the song of the day.
Karley has had over ten years of chorale training, nine years of classical voice training, four years of contemporary/pop/rock/musical theatre style training, and over four years of voice teaching experience. She loves nothing more than teaching and helping others grow in their art, and their love for singing.
Music introduces children to new words and sound patterns, which helps develop listening, comprehension skills, concentration, and memory. Choral singing also introduces children to team work and what it means to work together, even via Zoom!
This is an online class that is hosted on the KidPass Digital Platform, which uses Zoom. Upon booking, you will receive a link to access the class in your booking confirmation email. Simply click on the link when it’s time for your class. Please download Zoom prior to the start of the class.

Karley Kornegay is a voice teacher! She grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina where she discovered her love for singing and story telling at a very young age.

Karley has had nine years of classical voice and vocal technique training, four years of contemporary/pop/rock/musical theatre training, ten years of stage experience, four years of professional stage work, ten years of chorale training, eight years of acting training, four years of ballet, tap, and jazz training, five years of music theory experience, and four years of piano training. As well as five years of voice teaching experience and coaching material with students from ages 3 to 64.
Karley offers private voice lessons here on KidPass. She has had such a passion for teaching and helping little ones grow in their art for as long as she can remember. Karley believes that the arts is the heartbeat of humanity and is so important to this world. She can’t wait to get started with you and begin this new artistic adventure together!

Editor’s Tip
Karley attended the acclaimed Northwest School of the Arts High School and graduated from East Carolina University Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Musical Theatre in May of 2020.
