This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (https://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community and showcases many of the incredible classes and instructors on KidPass.
Come join Mrs. Quintana for a read-aloud or two intended for kids ages 5-7. Mrs. Quintana is a classroom teacher who loves nothing more than to gather with students to read a good book!
The goal of this class is to provide an engaging environment led by an experienced educator to foster a lifelong love of reading and learning!
Mrs. Quintana will choose a variety of stories that will capture the attention and spark the imagination of your young reader. Each time you join your child will be able to engage with Mrs. Q and other readers to develop or enhance important reading skills such as understanding vocabulary, questioning, wondering, making predictions, developing comprehension, and much, much more!
This is an online class that is hosted on the KidPass Digital Platform, which uses Zoom. Upon booking, you will receive a link to access the class in your booking confirmation email. Simply click on the link when it’s time for your class. Please download Zoom prior to the start of the class.
Note that as a KidPass Live Stage performance, this class and your participation may be posted on KidPass social media. Since it is formatted for a large audience, there will be limited instructor interaction. Mrs. Quintana, Mrs Q for short, recently got married so Mrs. Q is brand new to her!
She has been a teacher in various capacities including childcare, tutoring, coaching as well as being classroom teacher in 1st and 2nd grade. Mrs Q has a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, which just means working with littles brings her so much joy! Working with young children is a passion of her, as there is so much to explore and learn at such a young age. Mrs. Q's favorite thing about teaching is being able to instilling a life-long love for learning.
