This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (https://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community showcases many the incredible classes instructors on KidPass.
Students will learn the skill characterization by drawing inferences based on the text. They will identify how actions, behaviors, dialogue, thoughts feelings contribute to the character in a story. Students will need to know the different between fiction nonfiction, read on a fifth grade level, be able to draw inferences based on the text their own experiences.
Note that as a KidPass Live Stage performance, this class your participation may be posted on KidPass social media. Since it is formatted for a large audience, there will be limited instructor interaction. Cory received his BA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts for screenwriting and filmmaking. He graduated from the Upright Citizens Brigade's improv comedy program and performed weekly for 4 years. He has used these performance skills to engage his students in a unique delivery that uses humor, interest, and enthusiasm to motivate and engage them in a subject they may lack confidence in. He prides himself on being able to identify the natural abilities all scholars possess and work relentlessly to bring them to fruition.
He enjoys everything about being an educator. He derives much pleasure from the rapport he develops with scholars and parents and works passionately to set scholars up for success.
