About
This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (https://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community and showcases many of the incredible classes and instructors on KidPass.

Looking to up your local auditioning game and nab your dream role in your drama club? I'm here to help you pick material you love and get super comfy auditioning in front of a room full of strangers.

Picking material to sing for an audition, whether it be for a Broadway show or your local community theater, can be incredibly difficult. What song should you sing for the role you want? What kind of songs should you always have on standby? What are some age-appropriate songs that are sure to help you show off your unique voice and personality? I can help you tell the story you want to through your song while also helping you fine-tune your vocals and leave a wonderful impression behind in the audition room.

NOTE: This is a DEMO class for a 9-week long workshop that I will be teaching every Monday from 7-8:30 PM from November 2-December 28.

About
Kaeli Heffner is a recent graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she received her BFA in Drama and studied musical theatre extensively under the likes of Broadway and music industry giants such as Michael McElroy, Howard McGillin, Byron Easley, Dell Howlett and Crystal Monee Hall.

Born on the West Coast and raised on the East, Kaeli grew up singing and dancing. From an early age, she knew she wanted to spend her life making people laugh, smile, and think about their lives differently. She made her professional debut at 18 after years of performing in shows all over New York's Capital Region. With perfect pitch and a knack for picking up instruments as needed, she loves collaborating on shows and projects, but, perhaps most of all, she loves sharing her passions with kids, and has done so as soon as she aged out of her favorite summer theatre camp and became a counselor.

Kaeli currently works as an as-needed babysitter, mostly for toddlers, with Maison D'Enfants in NYC. She worked at a summer theatre camp for ages 8-15 for 4 years, as a production assistant, music director, and choreographer, respectively. She also worked as a dance teacher's assistant for a year during high school, and, last year, she got the amazing chance to choreograph a high school production of Mamma Mia! that was nominated for local awards.
