Stephanie is from a small WV suburb of Pittsburgh, PA and has been teaching English/Reading/Language arts to middle school students for 10 years and a middle school newspaper class for three years. She loves incorporating STEM into the arts (STEAM) with creative lessons that focus on language arts skills blended with other subjects. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications with a journalism concentration, language arts certification for grades 5-12, and a master’s degree in instructional leadership.
She is married with three kids of her own (ages 12, 8, and 4) at home so she has plenty of experience with children of various ages. She loves cats, hot herbal tea, dystopian fiction, crafting, yoga, and crochet, which is her most recent creative venture.
