Curious about volcanoes? So is Izzy! Volcanoes are mysterious, but they are all around the world! In this class, we explore how volcanoes work and why they are here with fun activities and discussions! Learn with Izzy about volcanic eruptions, types of volcanic hazards, what the inside of a volcano looks like, and how to identify different kinds of volcanoes and rocks!
Each class we will look at something different relating to volcanoes. Your child will be able to identify different types of volcanoes just by looking at them, tell you where the rocks around a volcano came from, and how a volcano works! Join Izzy for fun volcano-related activities and science learning!

Izzy is on KidPass to bring fun learning to all kids! Izzy teaches classes about comics, volcanoes, art, and more!
Izzy has taught kids of all ages, Pre-K through college! Most recently, Izzy taught in a Pre-K classroom, working with 4 year olds on art, math, music, and reading. Izzy can teach in English or ASL (American Sign Language) if requested! The subjects Izzy likes to teach best are Earth Science, visual arts, reading and literacy, and music. Izzy also loves training dogs!
Izzy has a degree in geology and always wants to share the love of science to kids. Izzy has been teaching and tutoring for 5 years, with expertise in geology and the arts stretching back 10 years. Children have different styles of learning, and Izzy is committed to finding the perfect teaching method for each student.
