How to Draw & Paint Animals for Kids

About
Learn how to paint your favorite animals, pets & furry friends in this engaging and educational class- Butterflies, Bees, Bears, Tigers, Cats, Dogs, Zebras, Fish, Peacocks or maybe even a magical Unicorn! In the first few weeks students will be introduced to preliminary exercises in drawing (the first step in the visual arts), then we will move on to color mixing, application & how to use light, to devise cool compositions. We will work with media & materials (oils vs. acrylics pastels or watercolor) & spend time on exploratory work in texture & special effects to give paintings that professional look. At the end of the course, complete a finished canvas of your favorite fluffy subject & class critique! Students are welcome to use their own subject matter, photos or pictures that inspire them. Please note drawing experience is useful for this course, but not essential- Beginners-Intermediate students are welcome.
**Drop in classes are offered as fun taster options & are in no way meant to substitute for full instruction in your chosen subject. For a more comprehensive learning experience in your choice of media, we recommend signing up for a regular Class PKG.**

Materials are included but NOT LARGE CANVAS. If you wish to work on a large canvas, you must purchase that prior to class & bring it with you to your first session. You may need multiple canvas over the duration of your course, your instructor will advise.

Our studio is open 7 days a week mornings, afternoons + evenings for your convenience.
Private Art lessons, Parties for all occasions, Kids Birthday Parties, Private Adult Painting Parties + Team building + Corporate Events
We also offer a small selection of Online programing for Teens and online private tuition for all age groups.
