About
Join forces with Look Up to the Stars Astronomy Camp where children can be inspired to think and dream big about our incredible universe!
Truly awesome and unforgettable astronomy programs and classes that are literally out of this world. Many fun and exciting STEM hands-on activities are done in each class. We begin our cosmic journey looking at the size & scale of the universe, bringing the entire cosmos to your fingertips. We examine the night sky as a roadmap to the stars and constellations, and take a grand tour of the solar system, including comets, meteors and asteroids & beyond. Explore the moon and Mars, gaze upon a cosmic ocean, and even build a telescope and starfinder to explore further into the depths of the universe from your own backyard. This incredible astronomical experience is so exciting you won't believe your eyes!
Exciting week-long sessions with daily 2 hour classes M-F for students grades PreK-5 with lots of fun hands-on activities as they are guided into the mysteries of the universe by a real astronomer who was a consultant with NASA and worked with a space telescope. The entire week is filled with constant fun and excitement as everyone experiences a supernova explosion of new knowledge and understanding in this virtual journey throughout the cosmos. Some of the many outrageous activities include constructing a starfinder, using Oreo cookies to see the phases of the Moon, and building an actual telescope from a kit provided by the camp.
