About
This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (https://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community and showcases many of the incredible classes and instructors on KidPass.

We have a lot of fun thinking like engineers and building things. So that’s why we call it Fungineering!
And we also call it Playgineering because we play while we build, with what we build!

In our Fungineering classes we build mechanized models with LEGO® Technic pieces that we ship to you, and in our Playgineering classes, you can use any materials you already have and we construct scenes and stories that go with the mechanized models built in Fungineering - so creating a bakery to go with the mixer model students built, or a boat to be wheeled to shore with the mechanized crane students assembled, or a city to be powered by the wind turbine they Fungineered, and much more...

Both these hands-on, online classes use the Engineer's Process to focus students' understanding through imagining and exploring concepts and enhancing knowledge of physics, technology, and engineering.

Note that as a KidPass Live Stage performance, this class and your participation may be posted on KidPass social media. Since it is formatted for a large audience, there will be limited instructor interaction. If you enjoy the class, please visit the instructor's KidPass page where you can find other class offerings and formats including small-group, interactive classes. About
The ROC operates as a Network for Learning dedicated to addressing academic, learning, life and career goals while responding to the changing face of education, technology and society. We create fun and exciting experiences which just happen to encourage thinking, motivate problem solving, and inspire productive collaborating and socializing.

Featuring individualized, customized, project based enrichment for children, teens, and adults, through everything from Archery to Zoology, while specializing in STEM programs like Lego Robotics, Scratch Animation, Minecraft and game design, The ROC serves as an incubator for new ideas of education, both inside and outside traditional institutions, connecting students and families with teachers, curriculum, programs, professionals, and businesses to create both traditional and experimental learning experiences, innovative twists on traditional subjects, and new ideas for independent learning and skill building.

Throughout it all, The ROC's philosophy is fundamental: the belief that no matter how diverse our communities, no matter how different we are from each other, there are times and places and experiences where we can grow and learn together.
