This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (http://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community and showcases many of the incredible classes and instructors on KidPass.
Our Minecraft Classes encompass both no coding for beginners and coding options for experienced Minecrafters. All Minecraft camps that we offer require a Mac/PC.
Our no-code class is where kids will learn to collaborate and will gain a basic understanding of civics & the economy. Kids will build houses, a business, engage in a free market, and build industry in a virtual world. They have the freedom to create and design their own fun things in Minecraft. The age range for this camp is 7-12 years old.
Our coding class is for experienced kids who play in Minecraft. Mine deep into the Minecraft world and create the future! In this creative camp, challenge the odds, craft your own kinds of weapons and build dream worlds using code. Do this while also learning fundamental programming concepts, level design, and problem-solving skills. You will make use of ready-made coding blocks to create their mini versions of Minecraft games all through the week and at home. At the end of the week, all the kids will collaborate to code and create a massive world that they all get to play in!
Note that as a KidPass Live Stage performance, this class and your participation may be posted on KidPass social media. Since it is formatted for a large audience, there will be limited instructor interaction.
