About Brotherhood Boxing Club
Register your NYC kid, ages 5-17 years old, in a boxing class at Brotherhood Boxing Club in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Founded in 1997, Brotherhood Boxing Club is the non-profit arm of the New York Boxing Academy, where trainees first start learning the basis skills of boxing and workout using variable intensity training routines. Brotherhood Boxing Club's mission is to provide at-risk youth and adults of all ages a place where they can learn the science of boxing and martial arts in a non-intimidating, family-friendly environment. Through the basic principles of sportsmanship, students will be able to apply self-discipline, concentration, and increased confidence into practical daily living. All Boxing Programs are designed, instructed and applied by Master Boxer and Head Coach Ray Cuadrado, who has trained over 70 tournament champions at various local, regional and national levels and has been registered with USA Boxing for over 15 years.

The Youth Boxing Program is designed to teach beginners and intermediates the fundamentals of boxing. Your child will be put through a rigorous but achievable workout in line with their fitness level. This is not a 'class'... it's a program geared towards making them a student of the 'Sweet Science.' This includes but is not limited to conditioning, footwork, bag work, and partner drills. Children with a little more experience may also spar (though all sparring is optional).
